Calif. Adopts Landmark Rules for Cleaner Cars

The California Air Resources Board unanimously approved sweeping new rules meant to facilitate a transition to more zero-emission vehicles. By 2025, automakers must halve greenhouse gas emissions compared to current levels, and make zero-emission vehicles at least 15 percent of their new car and truck sales.
